It is a natural diversification from our existing Golf Travel and Tours, which has been catering travel to high-end clients and guests for the last 25 years. I have been many times in Thailand, a top golf, medical, beach, culture and shopping destination receiving more than 29 million visi- tors last year! We are proud to be the new Referral Office Kenya for Bumrungrad International Hospital.” Sarah Kamotho-Cohen added: “Our services include assisting patients in every way possible includ-
ing appointments with the hospital, cost estimates for medical procedures, flights, hotel or service apartment bookings, transfers and excursions. There are no additional costs for using our services.”
The Kenya Ambassador H.E. Patrick S. Wamoto said that he was impressed by Bumrungrad International Hospital, which looked more like a 5 star hotel than a hospital. He added: “It is good for Kenyans to know that there is a Kenya Embassy in Bangkok. In case of any need, all Kenyans can count on their own Embassy in Thailand.”
In the same week of the launch of Lotus Care Travel, 10 golfers from Kenya combined a Health Check-Up at Bumrungrad Hospital with a few rounds of golf and shopping.
One of them wrote: “The hospital is truly 5-star and the check-up was friendly, professional and efficient. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I am sure we shall be your frequent tour partners. I, for one, loved every day, hour, minute of the tour. Asante!”
